We praise God for the end of another week and for His faithfulness! What a great week we have had celebrating three baptisms last Sunday and reflecting on how we may use our spiritual gifts in practical ways as we begin September!

Monthly Happenings
It's September and we are trying something new! We will be sending you a preview of events to look forward to each month: Monthly Happenings! S.E.A.N. Course:
Monday evenings from 7-9 PM. Consider SEAN, A wonderful opportunity for deeper discipleship & equipping for ministry while studying the life of Christ: a 2- year discipleship journey. View the complete SEAN brochure HERE.
Orientation Seminar on Sun., Sept. 11 @11:15 AM (after the morning service) in the Welcome Centre. Classes will begin on Mon., Sept. 19.

Foundations Class
Mondays beginning Sept 12 from 7-9 PM. Class will continue for 8 weeks excluding Sept 26, Oct 10 & 31; ends Nov 21. Join us in person or online for the Foundations Class where you will build a strong base for your faith! All materials provided! There will be videos, group discussion, homework & more! Women's Monday Evening Bible Study on Zoom

Soul Care Interactive Book Study
Hosted by Paul & Cheryl Guinness at 7:30 PM in the Youth Centre. This will be an 8 week study: Sept 15, 22; Oct 6,20, Nov 3, 17&24 and Dec 8. Explore 7 Transformational Principles for a Healthy Soul by Rob Reimer! Bring a spouse, partner, friend! Work through Soul Care principles to build a strong healthy foundation in your life and relationships. We will meet approximately twice per month to give time to work the principles into your life applying the 10 / 20 / 70 principals of learning! Nancy Veals Funeral Details
Please continue to pray for Scott and Cynthia Veals & family as they grieve the sudden loss of Scott’s mom, Nancy Veals, who passed away after a 2.5 week battle with cancer recently. The funeral details are as follows:
Visitation is Thursday, Sept 8 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM at Lynett Funeral Home: 3299 Dundas St. W., Toronto. The funeral will take place at 7 PM on Fri., Sept. 9 at Dovercourt Baptist: 1140 Bloor St W., Toronto.
Philip Bhagoutie's Father
On Sunday August 28th at 10:47 AM, the Bishop Rev Walter Bhagoutie transcended to the side of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the age of 15, Rev Walter gave himself to Jesus and since then he has looked forward to this hope that is a now a reality. The family is grateful for your prayers and invites you to watch the celebration of life service: CELEBRATION OF LIFE
