"Connected & Protected" Parent Workshop
Wed. Feb. 1, 7:45 p.m., Fireside Chapel/RAC
Join us for a coffee and discussion as we join the 'Connected & Protected' webinar together. Technology can be useful and powerful. How do we better prepare young people for their experiences in the online world? This session will use current research to show the powerful interaction between insane technology and vulnerable, developing brains. Led by Chris McKenna, founder of Protect Young Eyes, we will discuss the challenges our kids are contending with in online spaces such as erosion of their attention spans, sense of identity, and resistance to sexual exploitation. Answering the question of how to better prepare our children with practical solutions so that you and your family might feel prepared, balanced, and protected online. Resources Giveaway

We are clearing out our storage to make room for new resources, etc., and we have many great, but no longer needed resources that others may benefit from. All are invited to claim items for themselves or for others who would benefit. The Welcome Centre will remain open on Sundays, before and after services during the month of February for you to help yourselves to the books and other items.
The Praxis

We are a group of apprentices of Jesus seeking to be conformed to His likeness through Spiritual Formation practices. We will be starting our new session on John 15. Blizzard Youth Retreat
Feb. 10-12, Muskoka Woods
Blizzard Sr. High Winter Retreat is an off-site, overnight weekend for grades 9-12. We join several youth groups at Muskoka Woods Bible Camp (Rosseau, ON) for a weekend of fun, worship, and great memories. Blizzard has been an important part of our youth ministry history and has led many students closer to a relationship with Jesus and with one another. This year, the theme is "Road Trip": Where faith, Life, and Community Intersect. What to expect: Winter Games, tubing, worship, speaker, weekend with friends, cabins, food, FUN - its the full camp life in the snow! Register by Feb. 1 HERE.

To all Evergreens (55 Years Plus): We will be meeting on the third Wednesday of each month! Our first meeting will be held on Feb. 15 from 11am to 1pm and will include a hot lunch—a freewill offering will collected. We are excited to have Pastor TJ to present his vision for the Evergreens.
