Women's Bible Study
Weekly, Starts Thursday, March 9, 9:45 am, RAC Youth Centre
We are beginning a new women’s Bible study on "Live No Lies" by John Mark Comer. The cost is $25 for a book. “Live No Lies is a brilliant, deep, scriptural, and will equip you to face the enemy and fight.”―Jennie Allen. Ancient apprentices of Jesus developed a paradigm for this war; they spoke of the three enemies of the soul: the devil, the flesh, and the world. John Mark Comer combines cultural analysis with spiritual formation. He identifies the role lies play in our spiritual deformation and lays out a strategic plan to overcome them. Register: email@example.com.

ANNOUNCEMENTS, FAMILY NEWS, PRAISE AND PRAYER REQUESTS
Memorial Service for Marjorie Beaver
The family and friends of Marjorie Beaver are grieving her homegoing. There will be a memorial service at Wards Funeral Home (2035 Weston Rd, York, M9N 1X7) Saturday, February 25. Visitation will be at 12 pm with the service at 1:30 pm. All are invited to attend as we remember our friend Marjorie.
Note of Thanks from Mary Jamieson
Sunday's sermon on connecting to each other has been especially poignant for me. My church family has supported me so richly after my recent fall. I have been humbled and amazed at the gifts of friendship expressed -- the practical encouragement of cards, meals, calls, texts, visits and laughter. The gift of friendship is incalculable. It reinforces God's love and faithfulness.
Thank you and may the Lord bless you.
Quiz-Meet Prayer Request
The RAC quizzing team will have their third quiz-meet on March 4 in Belleville. Please pray for safe travel, for great connections with the wider quizzing community and most importantly, for the lives of the quizzers and leaders to be impacted by what they are learning about God and the early church. As we learn we have been tracking on a map where and how the Word of God spread and how the early church grew. It has been inspiring to see the obedience and courage of the first disciples and believers. (Keep an eye out for our fundraising efforts later in March!)
