Summer Activities Coordinator
Help advance RAC’s mission by overseeing the safe and successful delivery of summer activities and events, providing leadership and direction to the Summer Activities Leaders who will assist the Coordinator toward the goal of executing fun, engaging, and community-strengthening summer activities for children, youth, families, and adults. Assign tasks and responsibilities to teams, lead applicable training, evaluate leaders, and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for participants.
Summer Activities Leader
Help advance RAC’s mission by assisting the Summer Activities Coordinator with the safe and successful delivery of summer activities and events. All leaders will work in collaboration to execute fun, engaging, and community-strengthening summer activities for children, youth, families, and adults.
Summer Administrative Assistant
A well-organized and task-oriented person with great attention to detail will be responsible for doing a variety of administrative tasks, some of which may require creative or design elements, and provide support to staff, volunteers, and members of the church and local community. Bring your passion and energy to help us accomplish our mission to be a church that makes a positive impact in our local community.
Summer Community Worker
As a Community Worker, you will help advance RAC’s mission by creating and strengthening connections between people within our church and to those in our local community. The Community Worker will assist in our food bank, plan and run church and community events, phone or visit people and help establish strategic partnerships with other organizations.
Summer Cook
The Summer Cook will be responsible for the delivery of hot lunches on Tuesdays for RAC’s Neighbourhood Connections Food Bank, planning the menu, sourcing ingredients, and leading volunteers in preparation, cooking, and serving. They will also assist with the food preparation needs for other special events and activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper health and safety standards and following proper food handling practices. As a leader, they will foster a collaborative and hospitable environment for those working in the kitchen. The Summer Cook will need to be organized, efficient, and able to function in a fast-paced environment.
Summer Musician
Assist the Worship & Engagement Pastor with tasks that support the worship ministry of RAC, including coordination with worship leaders, the lead pastor, technical team, and volunteers toward the preparation and execution of weekly worship services. Work on any special projects like evening worship services, ministry special events, or special activities. Assist the Family Ministries Director with special projects and musical worship during Sunday school activities.
Summer Project Admin Officer
RAC is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to lead the development and implementation of a new cutting-edge "safe church" training program. This role will be pivotal in planning our "safe church" training program, leveraging the power of Microsoft Office365 tools to develop engaging, accessible, and sustainable learning experiences for our volunteers, and deploying the new program to volunteers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with church leadership and relevant stakeholders to ensure the training meets the needs outlined in the Safe Church Policy, adhere to best practices in adult learning, and ensure the safety and well-being of our community through innovative digital learning solutions.
Summer Technical Assistant
Support the worship ministry and digital communications of RAC by assisting with audiovisual production for Sunday services, weekly rehearsals, and special events. Working under the guidance of the Communications Coordinator (Service Producer) and Audio Technician, this role involves setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment, coaching volunteers, and helping produce distraction-free, high-quality worship experiences for in-person and livestream participants.
