Live Called is our church's annual missions conference. It is a time for the RAC community to focus on God's call for His church to be on mission bringing the Gospel to all those who have not yet heard (Acts 1:8). Every year, Live Called brings opportunities to connect with and pray for our National and International Workers; to see what God is doing around the world and learn about how we can participate. Our desire is to be a people who live out this calling that Christ has entrusted to us.

This year, our theme is God Is On The Move. We're excited to hear from several of our National and International Workers as they share how God is moving in their contexts, both during and after our worship services.

It’s in our DNA!

Founded in the 1880s, The Alliance Canada (formerly the Christian and Missionary Alliance) is committed to Jesus and His mission. We are a group of more than 400 local churches in Canada, and we send people to live on mission locally and globally. We aim to be a Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused movement in everything that we do.

The mission Jesus left his followers hasn’t changed, but the Kingdom is breaking in through different means. Our international workers are immersed in their local contexts and do life together with people in places where less than 2% of the population considers themselves evangelical Christians. We call these populations Least Reached People Groups. The Alliance Canada is focused on three strategies for doing life in these contexts: Church Development, Relief & Development, and Marketplace.

To The Hard and Dark Places

If The Alliance Canada is going to be faithful to The Great Commission, we need more International Workers in underserved regions as we partner with the church in the Global South through Church Development, Relief & Development efforts and Marketplace engagement. Listen to our International Vice President, Rev. Dr. Damien Lee, unpack how God is leading our movement to bring hope and transformation through the Gospel to the hardest and darkest places of the world.
